Industrialization has brought two things to America; both heavily contradict each other. Prosperity was attained by industrialization because the many innovations allowed America to ultimate increase its wealth by ten fold. However, America also faced hardship with the exception of those who were in possession of most of America's with. The poor remained in a static cycle of life, only to pass those sad conditions on to the next generation. All in all, the gap in wealth between those wealthy individuals and the poor majority was far to large to label the United States as a successful land.
